Comfort Hotel Evreux

Friendly receptionist but hotel desperately needs improvement.

The corridors leading to the rooms had a dreadful damp smell and definitely needed better upkeep. I noticed mould on the bathroom ceiling, beyond disgusting. Despite the large bathroom, the overall cold and damp feeling in the room made it uncomfortable, and I was very disappointed with the quality of the breakfast for the price paid.

It was en suite, had a large bed.

Loved our stay in this pleasant hotel with the attentive staff. Besides, the location was peaceful and handy for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of Arbr'en Ciel Park. The beds were comfy as were the pillows🙂

The room was decent, heaps comfy, but the shower issue was a bummer, eh? Breakfast could've had more options but the staff were choice!

Flexible arrival times, remarkably clean, good breakfast.

Not a dislike, rather a tip: Arrival by train or car: take the direction to La Madelaine, do not drive/go to the city centre.

Breakfast was good, value for money, quiet location. Staff was very courteous and friendly.

Pleasant restaurant in the house. Friendly staff. Kettle with tea bags and coffee bags in the room. Easily accessible by car.

Had a lovely stay with a super cozy twin room and the breakfast was simple yet tasty! There’s a nice sun terrace for chill time and a little garden area too. Just a heads up, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner, but we enjoyed the stay overall! 😊

For hours I was hummed for hours by a continuous hum which started again the next morning around 7:00. The bed was quite worn out, the paint on the toilet seat was peeling off, not so nice. In the restaurant it smelled like sewer, probably through a flap in the floor which probably covers the inspection shaft - should be sealed.

There was an exceptionally comfortable bed that I enjoyed in the double room. Had separate bathroom with all essentials.

No best, it was very pleasant.

Our room was clean, a reasonable size, the king size bed was comfortable, it had a flat screen tv that worked, the bathroom was a fair size and clean with a short bath and shower. The staff were friendly and efficient and spoke good English while we tried out our rather pitiful French. The restaurant was good with a buffet starter and a buffet of desserts, a small but reasonable choice of main courses. The breakfast had a good choice of cold meats, cheeses, jams, honey, croissants, bread, coffee and tea. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anybody.

The hotel is in a need of a little facelift in the corridors (ie the carpets look worn and a bit stained). I feel this lets the hotel down a bit.
